| Since 2004, the hotel has offered attractive and individually chosen holiday cottages and self-catering apartments in the Old Town of Stralsund and on the Island of Rügen. Now guests can make their choice from a mixed assortment of holiday accommodation and can have their stay at the Baltic Sea professionally organized from one source – regardless of whether they wish to spend their time in Stralsund, on a Baltic Island or a combination of both.
To enable the hotel to further extend its already highly commended range of tourist packages, new destinations are constantly being sought – not only around the Baltic Sea (on the Island of Hiddensee, a beach cottage and a self-catering apartment have just been renovated)
Originally intended as something out of the ordinary, the “Top Holiday Apartments” in Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest, ideally situated facing south-west, have proved so popular that, only one year after they were first included in the hotel’s accommodation list, they have recently been fully redecorated and refurnished to raise them to the highest standard.
In 2008, in the Old Town of Stralsund in particular, a number of comfortable, individually furnished self-catering apartments were added to the hotel’s “City Apartments” as we like to call them. These are located either in direct vicinity to the hotel, in the New Market or in the hotel itself, giving guests a choice of four different categories.
And we are continuing to expand in 2009 – with the acquisition of several new and luxurious self-catering apartments in Stralsund.
A feature which all these new apartments will have in common with the existing ones is the top city location, in easy distance of the recently opened Ozeaneum (Oceanographic Museum?), which is already very popular with visitors, and, of course, the professional care provided by competent, trained staff. All our guests may enjoy the convenient and abundant hotel amenities as well as the high-quality service. The reception desk is staffed around the clock. An ideal combination: live as you choose while still enjoying hotel service!
We are expanding not only in Stralsund but also beyond the borders of the city and the county! Since the beginning of spring, there is accommodation, under hotel management, available in the Old Town of Wismar. It goes without saying that the locations and interiors of all apartments will be up to highest standards. In addition, locations in other important Hanseatic towns, such as Greifswald, Lübeck, Hamburg and Bremen, are currently at the planning stage.
To put it in a nutshell: just as the hotel regards its location in the city centre as an obligation to provide guests with an unforgettable experience – above all where service is concerned – it alos applies this motto to the standard set for all our holiday accommodation.
